Sleep Apnea occurs when breathing stops during sleep for at least 10 seconds at least five times an hour. Mild sleep apnea causes few symptoms, but the condition may lead to low oxygen levels, which can be life threatening. Between 80 & 90 percent of persons with sleep apnea go undiagnosed leading to high blood pressure, heart failure, heart attack and stroke. Read more from the American College of Physicians

Evaluation and treatment of dizziness and ringing in the ears are two of our specialties. After a thorough evaluation in the office, Drs. Schaffer and Wong will draw you a picture to explain the causes of your problem, and outline the various treatments available. The Epley canalith repositioning procedure, which helps many patients resolve their dizziness, is performed right in our office. Remember, hearing loss, tinnitus and dizziness can be helped, and in many cases, cured!
