Michael B. Torrence, MD, FAAP

Dr. Michael Torrence is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Torrence founded Advocare Children's Medical Associates in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in 1977, and has continued to serve the community with pediatric health care for more than three decades.

Dr. Torrence graduated from the University of Missouri. After earning his doctorate of medicine degree from the University of Kansas, he completed a three-year pediatric residency training program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is affiliated with Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he is chairman of the Pediatric Peer Review Committee; and Riddle Memorial Hospital, where he is an active staff physician. Dr. Torrence is very involved in teaching medical students and pediatric residents, and provides preceptor training to physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Professionally, Dr. Torrence is interested in developmental pediatrics, ADHD, and infectious diseases. He has three children, all young adults.

Paul A. Ringiewicz, MD

 

 

Paul A. Ringiewicz, MD

Dr. Paul Ringiewicz is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He earned a bachelor of science degree in pre-medicine from Notre Dame University in 1977 and received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 1981. After completing his pediatric residency training at the Wilmington Medical Center (now Christiana Hospital) in Delaware, he joined Advocare Children's Medical Associates in 1984. Dr. Ringiewicz is affiliated with Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Riddle Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests include infectious diseases and nocturnal enuresis. He and his wife have four children ranging from elementary school age to young adult.

Pamela A. Mehalick, DO, MS, FACOP, FAAP

 

 

Pamela A. Mehalick, DO, MS, FACOP, FAAP

Dr. Pamela Mehalick is a board certified pediatrician and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1977 and received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981. After performing her rotating internship at Metropolitan Hospital–Parkview Division, she completed her residency at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. Dr. Mehalick joined Advocare Children's Medical Associates in 1988. She is affiliated with Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Riddle Memorial Hospital, a division of Main Line Health.

Dr. Mehalick and her husband, a psychiatrist, are the proud parents of four children. Residing in Marple Township, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time at the beach; but her greatest joy is the time she spends with her family. Dr. Mehalick is committed to her patients and their families. As a mother, she understands the challenges of raising happy, healthy children.

Robert D. Nunag, MD, FAAP

Dr. Robert Nunag is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He received a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Franklin and Marshall College, and earned his doctorate of medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Medical College. After completing his pediatric residency training at Nationwide Children's Hospital of The Ohio State University, he joined Advocare Children's Medical Associates in 1995. He is affiliated with Riddle Memorial Hospital and Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he teaches medical students and pediatric residents. He is blessed with three children and enjoys running, skiing, traveling, and coaching youth sports.

Gia N. Altomari, MD

 

 

Gia N. Altomari, MD

Dr. Gia Altomari is a board certified pediatrician and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She graduated from Elizabethtown College, earned her medical degree from Penn State University Hershey College of Medicine, and completed her internship and residency training in Ohio through the Wright State University School of Medicine at The Children's Medical Center of Dayton. Before joining Advocare Children's Medical Associates in 1997, Dr. Altomari practiced at Children's Health Clinic in Dayton, Ohio, and at Abilene Children's Medical Associates in Abilene, Texas. Dr. Altomari is affiliated with Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Riddle Memorial Hospital. She and her husband, a general surgeon, have two teenage children.
