Preventive Medicine for International Travelers
Our commitment to comprehensive care includes services for individuals traveling abroad. International travelers to certain parts of the world may be at risk for preventable infections. We provide vaccinations, counseling, and other preventive treatments to help keep travelers healthy during overseas excursions.
In our comprehensive travel assessment, we evaluate risk factors such as your medical history, your itinerary, and travel accommodations. We are experienced in providing travel healthcare services for:

VACCINES
Travelers should know that vaccines are specific to certain destinations. Many countries require vaccinations prior to applying for a visa. We stock most required vaccines in our office and can administer them during your consultation. We also provide you with an international certificate verifying vaccine administration.
Travel vaccines are not covered by regular health insurance. Although most prescriptions can be filled without contacting your insurance company, prescriptions for malaria prophylaxis may require pre-certification. Please contact your insurance plan representative to confirm requirements and coverage.
