Marc Backal, MD, FAAP
Dr. Marc Backal earned his medical degree and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia. A native of Cherry Hill, Dr. Backal received his bachelor's degree from Lafayette College. He and his wife are now raising their three children in South Jersey, where Dr. Backal proudly continues his family's legacy of pediatric practice. His father, Marvin Backal, DO, founded Laurel Pediatrics (now Advocare Laurel Pediatrics) many years ago, and is now enjoying his retirement with golf and recreation in Margate, New Jersey and Boynton Beach, Florida.
Caroline Kabel-Kotler, DO, FAAP
Dr. Caroline Kabel-Kotler graduated from New York's C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University and earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), School of Osteopathic Medicine. Raised in Cherry Hill, Dr. Kotler returned to South Jersey to complete her residency at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Dr. Kotler and her husband, Joel, have three children.
Sharon Kaus, DO
Dr. Kaus is a board certified pediatrician. She received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Cooper University Hospital, where she was selected to be Chief Resident from 2008-2009. Dr. Kaus joined Advocare Greentree Pediatrics in 2010. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Montclair State University.
