A. J. Higgins, MD, FAAFP
Dr. A. J. Higgins is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board certified in family medicine. He completed his internship and training at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, after graduating from Temple University and earning his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine.
Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Dr. Higgins has resided in Haddon Heights for more than 40 years. He established his Haddon Heights practice in 1972, and many patients fondly recall the original office attached to his home. He still cares for many of these first patients, along with their children and grandchildren, seeing patients at Advocare Heights Primary Care three days per week. While providing comprehensive primary care, his medical interests include geriatrics and managing chronic medical conditions.
An active member of the Haddon Heights community and his local church, Dr. Higgins has served as the Borough physician and as a prior member of the Board of Health. His commitment to service includes traveling to several underserved countries, where he has delivered medical care to those in need. Dr. Higgins and his wife have two daughters and two grandchildren.

Michael A. Renzi, DO, FACP
Dr. Michael Renzi is an internist who enjoys family practice and has special interest in caring for patients age 12 and older with complex medical problems. Dr. Renzi received his bachelor's degree at Lafayette College and earned his doctor of medicine degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Cooper University Hospital in 1995, he joined Advocare Heights Primary Care, where he now serves as managing partner. He also directs Adult Medical Services and Advocare Inpatient Medicines for Advocare, LLC and Continuum Health Alliance, LLC.
An assistant professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Dr. Renzi also presents a regular lecture series at Cooper University Hospital. At Advocare Heights Primary Care, he is the attending physician for the ambulatory resident clinic, and also directs the Clinical Trials Program. As a physician, Dr. Renzi is particularly interested in adolescent medicine, psychiatry, asthma, and dermatologic procedures. His research interests include diabetes, atrial fibrillation and community-acquired infections.
Dr. Renzi lives in Haddonfield with his wife, four sons, and two Mastiffs. (Yes, the dogs are Italian, too.)
Humeera Hina, MD
Dr. Humeera Hina is board certified in family medicine. She received her medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences in India, and after completing her residency in family practice at Virtua West Jersey-Memorial hospital, joined Advocare Heights Primary Care in 2005.
Dr. Hina provides health care for patients of all ages. She is experienced in performing minor office procedures such as joint injections, cryotherapy, skin biopsies, and removing skin lesions; and has special interests in managing acute and chronic medical problems, woman's health issues, and providing preventive care.
Dr. Hina is fluent in Hindi. She enjoys treating patients and spending time with her family.
Krista King, MD
Dr. Krista King is board certified in internal medicine. She enjoys providing preventive health care services and managing acute illnesses and chronic diseases in adult patients.
Dr. King graduated from Johns Hopkins University. While earning her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the medical honor society. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Scripps Mercy Medical Center in San Diego, California, and entered private practice there. Upon relocating to New Jersey in 2006, Dr. King joined Advocare Heights Primary Care. She and her husband have two daughters.
Tamara Fisicaro, MD
Dr. Tamara Fisicaro is an internist who specializes in caring for patients with chronic medical illness and coordinating care for patients with multiple medical problems. She joined Advocare Heights Primary Care in July 2009.
Tamara Fisicaro (nee DelGiorno) grew up in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. She attended Paul VI High School and the Rock School for Dance Education, and upon graduation joined Cleveland/San Jose Ballet as a professional ballet dancer for four years. Returning to the Philadelphia area, she attended St. Joseph's University and received her doctor of medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Fisicaro completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she was chosen to serve as Chief Medical Resident.
Dr. Fisicaro belongs to a family of local physicians, including fellow Advocare pediatricians Dr. John DelGiorno and Dr. Joseph DelGiorno; Advocare endocrinologist Dr. Charles DelGiorno; and nephrologist Dr. Thomas DelGiorno. She and her husband, an anesthesiologist, reside with their two daughters in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.
Kelli Peters, PA-C
Kelli Peters is board certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants. Providing prevention-based health care for the entire family at Advocare Heights Primary Care since 1994, her special interests include sports medicine, pediatrics, and dermatological procedures. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and completed the Physician Assistant post-graduate program at Hahnemann University.
A First Dan Black Belt, Kelli stays in shape by practicing the art of Tae Kwon Do. She lives with her husband and two sons in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, where she enjoys watching her boys' ice hockey games.
Eileen Campbell, APN
Eileen Campbell is board certified as a family health nurse practitioner by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center. Since joining Advocare Heights Primary Care in 1999, she has focused on providing care to the entire family and developing partnerships with her patients to address their mutual goals in areas of health maintenance and preventing illness.
As director of the Clinical Research Department at Advocare Heights Primary Care, Eileen enrolls and monitors patients with specific diagnoses in clinical trials that utilize cutting-edge drugs to improve disease conditions. She is also on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Nursing, where she teaches and supervises aspiring nurse practitioners during their education in a variety of clinical settings.
Eileen received a bachelor's in nursing from Boston College and a master's in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was honored with an award for Outstanding Clinical Scholarship. Her extensive experience in acute care hospitals includes 13 years as an emergency room nurse at Cooper University Hospital.
Eileen resides in Haddonfield, New Jersey with her husband and two children. She enjoys running and cooking.
Melissa Sinrich, APN
Melissa Sinrich joined Advocare Heights Primary Care as a family nurse practitioner in 2004. She earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and also received a master's degree in public health from Boston University.
Melissa previously served as a nurse practitioner in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Division of General Internal Medicine, and in the Cooper University Hospital Emergency Department.
Melissa and her husband have twin sons and a dog. She enjoys running, reading, and traveling.
Peter Higgins, PA-C
Peter Higgins is a family practice physician assistant who developed his interest in medicine as a teenager, working as a file clerk in the office of Advocare Heights Primary Care. Under the guidance of his uncle, Dr. Alexander Higgins, who founded the practice, and Kelli Peters, one of the practice's physician assistants, Peter was inspired to become a health care provider. He joined the practice in August 2009, and has a special interest in caring for children and teens.
Peter earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Rutgers University and received his master of medical science degree from the Arcadia University Physician Assistant Program. After completing his training at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey; Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia; Peter joined Pizzica Health System, a Philadelphia area provider of pediatric health care.
Returning to Advocare Heights Primary Care after 15 years, Peter has a special appreciation for the technology that has made the office more efficient. He was delighted to find that none of the staff seemed to have aged at all, and everyone was still committed to the same high level of compassionate care.
Peter resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his wife and son. They are very involved with their local church in Pennsauken, and especially enjoy working with their church's outreach efforts, helping inner city youth in Camden.
