Martin L. Cohen, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Martin L. Cohen is a board-certified pediatrician with over forty years of extensive experience in caring for the health of infants and children. Opening his practice in 1972, Dr. Cohen has been instrumental in its dynamic growth and expansion over the years.

In addition to his emphasis on patient care, Dr. Cohen has been very active in the academic world, and has served as the assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He also held the post as president of the medical-dental staff of Morristown Memorial Hospital in 1998 -1999, and earned the title of president of the combined medical staffs of Atlantic Health System in 2000.

Recently, Dr. Cohen has been listed twice in New Jersey Magazine's annual "Top Doctors in New Jersey" issue, and is recognized in "Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area" in the Castle Connolly Directory.

Dr. Cohen is a Diplomate and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. In addition, he is a member of several prestigious professional associations, including the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the Morris County Medical Society (President, 1988-1989).

With a military background, Dr. Cohen served as a Major in the United States Air Force, assigned as Chief of Pediatrics at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. Dr. Cohen completed his pediatric post-graduate training at Children's Hospital of Akron, Ohio, where he was Chief Resident in Pediatrics. He earned his M.D. from the State University of New York at Syracuse in June of 1967.

Dr. Cohen is married to Joan (Stern) Cohen, a Morristown native. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren.

Dr. William L. Lupatkin is a pediatrics physician and has been an integral member of our practice since joining us in 1979. As a seasoned professional, he has been committed to infant and child health in New Jersey and New York for many years.

Dedicated to higher education and research, Dr. Lupatkin is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Previously, he held the position as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Columbia University college of Physicians and Surgeons.

In addition, Dr. Lupatkin is a member of several highly-esteemed medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the Morris County Medical Society. He is a Diplomate of the American Board and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Lupatkin is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine's Ph.D.-to-M.D. program, and received his degree in 1974. He completed his internship and residency at Babies Hospital at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, where he also held a full-time teaching position for two years before joining our practice.

Over the years, Dr. Lupatkin has been recognized for his excellence, and has recently been featured Castle Connolly Directory's "Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area."

He lives with his wife, Dr. Julie Timins Lupatkin, a radiologist, and enjoys spending time with his three children and four grandchildren.

Suhaib G. Nashi, M.D., DCP, FCRP (UK), F.A.A.P.

Dr. Suhaib Nashi is an experienced physician, specializing in all areas of pediatrics. He has been a dedicated member of our practice since 1997.

Dr. Nashi's notable career has been extensive, as he has a great deal of global medical expertise. He immigrated to the USA in 1994, after becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK. At that time, he was registered with the General Medical Counsel, and completed his pediatric residency program with Morristown Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident in 1997. Upon finishing the program, he joined Morristown Pediatric Associates.

Dr. Nashi is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. He holds a diploma in Clinical Pediatrics and received his M.D. in 1977. In the early 90's, Dr. Nashi completed three years of training as a Registrar in Pediatrics in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow, Scotland. Previously, he was with the Al-Mustansiriha University Pediatric Program in Baghdad, focusing on higher pediatric clinical training and research work. He is a graduate of the Baghdad College of Medicine.

Dr. Nashi was honored with the Patients' Choice recognition award in 2008, '09, '10.

He is married to Dr. Hamsa Al-Dulaimi, a pathologist. Together, they have two children and one grandchild.

Meera Gupta, M.D., F.A.A.P.

As an experienced pediatrician, Dr. Gupta is a valued member of our practice, and committed to the healthcare of infants and children.

Dr. Gupta is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Additionally, she held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, where she also completed an intensive fellowship training in both Pediatric Pulmanology and Infectious Disease.

Previously, she completed her Pediatric internship and residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital, and served as Pediatric Chief Resident in 1981.

In addition, Dr. Gupta is a member of several esteemed several medical associations, including the Medical Society of New Jersey, the Morris County Medical Society, the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A graduate of Cambridge University with an interest in English Literature, Dr. Gupta earned her Medical Degree from Allahabad University, India, in 1977.

She currently lives in New Jersey with her two children.

Tammy McCluskey, DO, F.A.A.P.






























Tammy McCluskey, DO, FAAP

Dr. Tamara McCluskey is an experienced physician who has been practicing general pediatrics for over 15 years. She joined Morristown Pediatric Associates in August, 2007, and is a valued member of our staff.

Previously, she was a partner in a New Jersey-based medical practice group, and had completed a three-year residency in pediatrics at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, an affiliate of Hahnemann Medical Center. She also completed a rotating clinical internship at Union Memorial Hospital in Union, NJ.

Dr. McCluskey earned her Medical Degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, where she was inducted into the academic honor society (Sigma Sigma Phi), and was a National Representative of the Student Osteopathic Medical Society. While attending collage, Dr. McCluskey was Vice President of the Undergraduate Academy of Osteopathic Medicine, and acted as Student Representative to the Clinical Education Committee. Prior to medical school, she graduated with honors from Muhlenberg collage in Allentown, Pennsylvania with a BS in Biology, and then enrolled in Penn State University's graduate program in Human Genetics.

Dr. McCluskey is a Diplomate of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, as well as the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. McCluskey is a New Jersey native and is married with two children.

Lisa Romano, MS, RN, A.P.N., C.

Lisa Romano is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has been with the Morristown Pediatric Associates team since October 2007.

During her robust career as an advanced practice nurse, Ms. Romano has worked in various pediatric settings. She is currently an adjunct faculty member for Felician College School of Nursing in Lodi, NJ, and has previously held an adjunct faculty position for Columbia University's School of Nursing's Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.

Beginning her career as a pediatric nurse at Babies Hospital at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, Ms. Romano cared for a diverse group of pediatric patients. While working full time, she earned her Master of Science in Pediatric Primary Care from Columbia University School of Nursing in 1992. Prior to this, she graduated from William Paterson State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Ms. Romano is a member of several prestigious associations, including the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She previously served as secretary for the Greater New York chapter of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (1995-1997). She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 1992 and is a member of the Alpha Zeta Chapter. She is certified in basic cardiac and pediatric advanced life support.

Ms. Romano lives in New Jersey with her husband and four children.

Nickie Sims, LPN

Nickie Sims has been a valued member of the nursing staff at Morristown Pediatric Associates for over seven years.

As a veteran, Ms. Sims acquired her practical nursing instruction while serving in the United States Army. After returning from her military tour in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, she attended Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Currently she is pursuing her BSN degree.

Christine Bowman, RN

Christine Bowman has been a dedicated member of the Morristown Pediatric Associates nursing staff for over 21 years. She is a Registered Nurse and has extensive experience in all areas of pediatric nursing care.

Ms. Bowman is an avid gardener who loves spending time with her grandchildren.

Diana Montoya, RN

Diana Montoya is a Registered Nurse and has been with Morristown Pediatric Associates for nearly five years.

Ms. Montoya initially joined the practice as a front desk administrative assistant, and has earned her associates degree from County College of Morris (CCM) while employed with our practice.

Christina Ferraro, MA

Christina Ferraro is a valued member of the staff at Morristown Pediatric Associates. She began her career with our practice in 2006, and she returned to our practice in 2011.

Ms. Ferraro is a graduate of Dover Business College.
