Anthony G. Miccio, MD
Dr. Anthony Miccio is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Prior to founding Family Health at Mount Olive in 1995, Dr. Miccio served in the United States Air Force for seven years. He also completed his residency in family practice medicine at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. Born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, Dr. Miccio graduated from Rutgers University's Cook College and earned his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine. In addition to his family practice, Dr. Miccio serves the region as president of the department of medicine at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. He is also medical director for Health Nutrition Technology, and is a member of the Mount Olive Health Department. Dr. Miccio has one daughter. An avid New York Mets and New York Giants fan, he enjoys running, fishing, and sports.
Karen R. Peters, DO
Dr. Karen Peters is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. She graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Osteopathic Medicine, served as an intern at Atlantic City Medical Center, and completed a three-year residency in family practice at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. In addition to spending time with her husband and two children, Dr. Peters enjoys tennis and cake decorating.
Suma B. Ghanta, MD
Dr. Suma Ghanta is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She completed her family practice residency training at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey, after graduating from The John Hopkins University and receiving her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. Dr. Ghanta was born in India and grew up in Metuchen, New Jersey, and is fluent in Telugu and English. She and her husband have one daughter and enjoy traveling.
Charles C. Choe, DO
Dr. Charles Choe is dually certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Family Medicine. After graduating from Lehigh University, Dr. Choe earned his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then returned to Brooklyn, New York, where he was born, to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Choe was raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. He and his wife, Jo-An, have two children and enjoy cooking, bicycling, and traveling.
Rebecca M. Keenan, PA-C
Ms. Keenan is certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ms. Keenan graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received her physician assistant degree in Annapolis, Maryland. Ms. Keenan and her husband enjoy exploring the outdoors with their children.
