Alfred J. Carlson Jr. MD.
Dr. Alfred Carlson is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his residency in pediatrics at Philadelphia General Hospital. As a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy, from 1968 to 1969 he served as the officer in charge of a Navy medical assistance program for the Republic of Vietnam. In 1970 Dr. Carlson co-founded Advocare Pediatric Medical Associates. Dr. Carlson received the 2001 "Teacher of the Year" award for pediatrics from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Clinical Care Associates. He enjoys working with parents of newborns and children with asthma.
Abha Dewan MD.
Dr. Abha Dewan is board certified in pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India and Great Britain. After moving to the United States, Dr. Dewan completed her residency in pediatrics at Albert Einstein Medical Center, then joined Advocare Pediatric Medical Associates. Dr. Dewan's special interests include caring for newborns and treating children with asthma.
Jeremy Lichtman MD.
Dr. Jeremy Lichtman is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Dr. Lichtman served on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He enjoys helping families stay healthy and guiding parents through any challenges they face. His special interests include newborns and the treatment of asthma, ADD, behavior problems, adolescent medicine, and skin disorders.
Mark F. Mangano MD.
Dr. Mark Mangano is board certified in pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his pediatric internship and residency at Stanford University Hospital. Dr. Mangano also completed fellowships in human genetics/molecular genetics at the National Institutes of Health and in pediatric infectious disease at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
