A: Yes, we welcome new patients.

A: Please refer to Insurance to review Advocare's list of accepted insurance providers.

Q: Do I need to obtain a referral prior to making an appointment?
A: Our office does not usually require referrals, but many insurance providers will only cover specialist visits with a prior referral from your primary care physician. Please check with your insurance company to determine whether a referral is required.

Q: How do we contact the doctor after hours?
A: Our medical doctors are available 24 hours a day. After hours, call the office at (856) 772-2300 and our answering service will page the provider on call. Please be aware that after-hours calls are intended for urgent medical issues that cannot wait until the next business day. Pages are typically returned within 20 minutes. Please call back if you have not received a timely response.

Q: When will I receive lab or test results?
A: We make every effort to contact our patients whenever lab and test results become available. Most pap and biopsy results take up to two weeks to return. Please contact our office if you have not heard from our staff regarding your results.

Q: What hospitals are you affiliated with for surgical and obstetrical care?
A: We are affiliated with Virtua and Kennedy Health Systems. We also perform minor surgical procedures in our Voorhees office.

Q: Can I email the providers if I am having a medical problem?
A: The email contact form on our website is for non-emergent general inquiries only. To ensure that you receive the care you need promptly, please contact us via the main office telephone number for all medical concerns.

Q: How long does it take for medical forms such as disability paperwork, referrals or pre-certifications to be completed?
A: Please allow up to five business days for your paperwork to be completed.

Q: How soon can I get an appointment?
A: In general, we offer same-day emergency appointments. Routine appointments are usually available within one week.

Q: How many providers do you have at your practice?
A: We have three providers, including two board certified physicians and one certified nurse midwife. All three provide obstetrical and gynecological services.

Q: Do you provide high-risk obstetrical services?
A: Yes, we are experienced in high-risk obstetrical services. When necessary, we collaborate with specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine to coordinate your care.
