Dr. Howard Orel joined Advocare Marlton Pediatrics in 1989. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees from The College of Arts and Sciences, the Wharton School of Business, and the School of Medicine; then completed his pediatric training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1989. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Orel was honored to be named a regional "Top Doc" by South Jersey magazine.
Dr. Orel's special interests include evaluating and treating patients with ADD/ADHD and school problems, as well as healthcare management. He serves on the board of Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS) of Southern New Jersey and is a member of the Medical Alumni Advisory Council of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Orel has previously served on the executive boards of Camp Ramah in the Poconos and the Jewish Community Voice, a regional newspaper. The proud father of four daughters, Dr. Orel resides with his wife and two youngest children in Moorestown, New Jersey. He takes pleasure in traveling and volunteering for community service.
