Renowned for her expansive expertise in healthcare law, Cindy previously served as Assistant Vice President of Legal Affairs and Deputy General Counsel for Lourdes Health System (part of Trinity Health System), where she handled all legal matters for three acute care hospitals, their subsidiaries, and over 200 physician practices across Southern and Central New Jersey. In this role, she provided legal and strategic counsel to the board, executive team, medical staff, and department leaders while serving as Assistant Corporate Secretary.
Before joining Lourdes, Cindy was a Compliance Officer and Assistant General Counsel at a community hospital and in private practice, representing various healthcare providers such as acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and physicians on state and federal regulatory compliance, civil litigation, administrative appeals, and health law transactions. Her legal expertise is further demonstrated by her experience arguing before the New Jersey Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court, including cases like Ardan v. Board of Review and Mainland Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center v. New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services.
Cindy has a longstanding commitment to community and professional service, including serving on the Medford Education Foundation Board of Trustees, Burlington County College (now RCBC) Board of Trustees, the New Jersey Supreme Court District IIIB Ethics Committee and the March of Dimes of South Jersey “March” Committee.
Cindy earned her law degree from Rutgers-Camden School of Law and graduated with honors from Douglass College for her undergraduate studies. She currently resides in Medford, New Jersey.
