With 17 years of experience, Matt Herzer has successfully grown hundreds of healthcare practices. Throughout his career, Matt has held key roles in practice management, finance, information technology, and marketing, providing him with a unique perspective to deliver winning best practices and strategic plans for Providers. Known for creating robust infrastructures, Matt has implemented rapid changes in expanding organizations improving the overall patient experience. 

As Vice President of Practice Operations at Advocare, Matt played a pivotal role in expanding the organization to over 800 providers serving 800,000 patients. This resulted in the largest growth period in company history, establishing Advocare as a respected healthcare entity in the Delaware Valley. His leadership was instrumental in several critical initiatives, including the implementation of eClinicalWorks electronic health record platform, deployment of Microsoft O365, support model development and integration, and establishing the company’s first Practice Operations team.  Leadership roles have spanned several organizations including private practice, healthcare consulting and hospital.  

Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Drexel University. He is an active member of the Healthcare Leaders Association of New Jersey. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.  He is also dedicated to coaching his children’s local sports leagues in South Jersey.
