As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Pat Board provides vision and leadership to drive best practices in all aspects of the organization’s operational functions. Among his areas of expertise are strategy development, physician practice and hospital operations, physician collaboration, population health, team building, and community engagement. He translates strategy into organization-wide goal setting and annual operations planning, including actionable steps and performance management.

Pat brings with him over 30 years as an innovative leader with a proven track record of achieving exemplary results in complex healthcare environments. He joined Advocare from the highly respected Marshfield Clinic Health System where he most recently lead the system’s flagship site in Marshfield including a 450+ provider clinic and a tertiary care hospital where he served as the market President. Before his tenure at Marshfield Clinic Health System, he held various executive-level roles in the healthcare sector, including Union Health System, UAP Clinic, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, and University of Minnesota Physicians.

After graduating from the University of St. Thomas, Pat attended the University of Minnesota earning a master’s degree in Health Administration. A native of Minnesota, Pat is now a proud resident of southern New Jersey.
