Human Resources Generalist

Advocare, LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist to work with corporate management to develop and administer human resources policies, programs and services, including legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices, procedures, and employee communications.
Ensure company is compliant with all federal, state and local human resources laws and keep up-to-date on changes and updates in employment law.
Advise management on effective hiring, performance feedback, discipline and termination procedures.
Address employee relations concerns, harassment allegations, workplace complaints. Conduct investigations when needed.

Oversee the employee benefit programs and provide details of plan offerings.
Handle the FMLA, disability, and leave of absence process by communicating with employees on the company policy and process for the leave. Prepare and maintain effective LOA paperwork.
Develop and train management staff on handling employee relations, applicable laws, employee conflict and other HR topics.
Oversee employee recordkeeping including new hires, I-9 forms, performance appraisals, employee transfers, separations and exit interviews.
Complete and respond to employee verifications, unemployment claims or request for employee information from outside agencies.
Assists with the creation of HR policies, forms, job descriptions, and procedures.
Foster a workplace environment consistent with the values and vision of the company.
Meet deadlines, prioritize company assignments and maintain professional composure under pressure and dynamic conditions.
Adjust to new situations encountered on a daily basis and have the ability to learn new duties quickly.
Lead conflict resolution and maintain a constructive working relationship with employees at all levels of the organization.
Bachelors degree in Business, HR or related field. 3 to 5 years direct HR related experience. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required. Prior healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
