Advocare Welcomes Bryn Mawr Pediatrics
Marlton, NJ – July 1, 2026. Advocare, a physician-owned, multispecialty medical group with a network of more than 900 providers, continues its growth in the Greater Philadelphia region with the addition of Bryn Mawr Pediatrics.
Located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr Pediatrics has provided personalized pediatric care to families throughout the Main Line for more than three decades. The practice is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of children from birth through college age while maintaining a small, relationship-focused environment where families receive individualized, compassionate care. In addition to preventive care, well-child visits, and same-day sick appointments, the practice offers diagnosis and management of anxiety, depression, and ADHD in collaboration with local mental health specialists.
The practice is led by Karla Nickolas-Swatski, MD, FAAP, a board-certified pediatrician with the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Nickolas-Swatski earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. She has cared for children in suburban Philadelphia since 1994 and serves on the active medical staff of Bryn Mawr Hospital and Lankenau Medical Center. A REACH-trained pediatrician, Dr. Nickolas-Swatski has a special interest in pediatric mental health, preventive care, infant care, and caring for children at every stage of development.
Joining her is David Yusavitz, CRNP, a pediatric nurse practitioner with more than a decade of experience in primary care pediatrics. Throughout his career, David has focused on improving access to quality pediatric healthcare and addressing health inequities through clinical practice and community health initiatives. His professional interests include adolescent medicine and pediatric mental health, and he brings experience from primary care, adolescent medicine, inpatient behavioral health, and community-based pediatric programs.
