Advocare Welcomes Kids Care Pediatrics
Marlton, NJ – March 1, 2026. Advocare, a physician-owned, multispecialty medical group with a network of more than 900 providers, continues its growth in North Jersey with the addition of Kids Care Pediatrics.
With locations in Plainfield and Colonia, Kids Care Pediatrics provides comprehensive, child-centered care for infants, children, and adolescents. The practice is dedicated to building lifelong relationships with families by delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment. With a focus on preventive care, developmental support, and whole-child wellness, the team is committed to improving the lives of the children they serve while guiding families toward optimal health at every stage.
The practice is led by Anita Kishen, MD, founder of Kids Care Pediatrics, whose mission is rooted in providing high-quality, personalized pediatric care. Dr. Kishen is actively involved in public health initiatives, including the New Jersey Immunization Network, and participates in educational programs through the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). During the pandemic, she launched a mental health program to expand support for children and families, a reflection of her continued commitment to addressing both physical and behavioral health needs.
She is joined by Vani Gayam, MD, a pediatrician with more than two decades of experience and clinical interests in developmental delays, asthma, and obesity; Priya Lad, CPNP-PC, a pediatric nurse practitioner with expertise in asthma, obesity, and behavioral health; Amy Witterschein, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in pediatric nutrition; and Paul Maranski, a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who supports children and families through a systems-based therapeutic approach. Together, the team provides integrated, family-focused care designed to support the whole child.
